Meg & Jordan | The Barn at Ballard Creek

On May 24th, 2025, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a stunning wedding at The Barn at Ballard Creek in Good Thunder, just 1 hour southwest of Minneapolis, Minnesota. With 70-degree sunshine and a light breeze, the weather set the tone for a picture-perfect day. The intimate ceremony took place beneath a stunning oak tree, creating a heartfelt and emotional setting for the couple’s vows. Surrounded by an incredibly supportive and joyful wedding party and family, the love between the bride and groom was palpable from start to finish.

One of the most memorable moments was the emotional first look between the bride and her father—so raw and genuine and definitely in my top 5. We captured bride and groom portraits near the pasture, dodging a few mud-pies, but the curious and playful calves made it so worth it! We gathered inside the rustic yet elegant barn for dinner and dancing, closing the evening with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
